Iranian folk music band to perform at Russian festival
TEHRAN, Aug. 7 (MNA) -- The Leymer folk music and dance group from Iranian southern port Bushehr will be performing at the Spirit Ritual Dance Festival in Moscow.
“We will perform regional folk dances with rhythmical movement choreographed by Nader Rajabpur and play a selection of folk music from Bushehr and other regions of Iran,” the conductor Mohammad Reza Beladi said.
The music will be broadcasted during the folk dancing at the festival, he added.
Mohammad Reza Beladi (Dammam), Mohammad Reza Nushzad Ney-Anban(Bag pipe), Hushang Ali-Sharafi and Mohammad Reza Shushtarinejad on tempo will accompany the band’s vocalist Abdolreza Akhlaqi.
The ten-day festival will open on September 3.
