Iran’s “Endless Dreams” to compete at S. Korean filmfest
TEHRAN, Aug. 8 (MNA) -- Puran Derakhshandeh’s “Endless Dreams” will compete at the Busan International Kids’ Film Festival which will be held from August 11 to 15 in South Korea.
The film tells the story of Reyhaneh, an eight-year-old girl, who experiences a horrible nightmare. The day after, the nightmare happens right before her eyes; her teacher disappears.
The festival’s only competitive section involves a collection of screen productions by children authors called “Ready~Action!” Twenty episodes of the collection will be presented alongside films from around the world.
“Nocturnal Emissions”, “Candle in the Wind”, “A Love Without Frontier”, “Little Bird of Happiness”, “Lost Time”, and “Passing Through the Dust” are Derakhshandeh’s other credits.
