TWO FOREIGN PAINTERS TO HOLD PAINTING EXHIBITIONS IN BALI
Denpasar, Bali, July 24 (ANTARA) - Two foreign artists, a Dutchman and a German, will hold separate painting exhibitions at Ubud, Bali Island, from July 26 yo August 26, 2008.
For Dutch painter Ronald Wigman, the exhibition would be the second held on Bali Island after his first one in 2006, Tony Hartawan, organizer of the painting exhibitions, said here on Thursday.
Wigman would display 80 paintings which he had produced over the last 10 years, he said.
The theme of the Dutch artist's exhibition will be "Vice Versa" because he made the paintings in Indonesia, France and the Netherlands.
Meanwhile, Peter Dittmar, had held 90 painting exhibitions all over the world, but it would be his first display in Bali, Hartawan said.
During his solo exhibition in Bali, he will display tens of paintings, including some which he had made during his stay in Bali over the last two years.
