U.S. exports to Iran up 23%
TEHRAN, Aug. 11 (MNA) – Iran imported some 3,300 tons of goods worth over $14 million from the U.S. during the Iranian month of Tir (ended July 22).
The amount shows 23 percent increase in terms of value and 8 percent rise in term of volume in comparison to the same period in the last year.
Iran also exported over 550 tons of non-oil goods worth over $16 million in the mentioned period.
The amount shows 166 percent increase in terms of volume and 189 percent rise in terms of value compared to the pervious year’s figures.
During the previous Tir, Iran imported 3,032 tons of American goods worth over $11 million, while exporting 206 tons of non-oil goods worth over $5 million.
