Iran Sahar TV to entertain French audience with “Prophet Joseph”

TEHRAN, Aug. 11 (MNA) -- The Iranian TV series “Prophet Joseph” will be broadcast for French audiences on Sahar, an international Iranian TV channel available on satellite during the month of Ramadan.

Sahar TV will be broadcasting the series, which is dubbed into French, each morning for French audiences.

Directed by Farajollah Salahshur, “Prophet Joseph” focuses on the life of the Prophet Joseph (AS) from his childhood to adulthood.

The 45-episode series was produced by Sima Film Productions, an affiliate of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) and was aired on IRIB Channel One in 2008 and 2009.

“The Salvation Whisper” narrative documentary produced by Reza Darvish-Nuri will also be aired during Ramadan for French audiences.

The 30-part documentary is about a woman named Tala Qeisari whose return to her country Iran after 26 years coincides with Ramadan. During her sojourn, she observes the economic, social and political achievements accomplished during those years.

Funded by Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), Sahar is an Iranian TV station available via satellite, but is not seen in Iran. The station broadcasts in English, French, Kurdish, Bosnian, Azerbaijani, and Urdu.
