Iranian singer to perform at German festival
TEHRAN, Aug. 11 (MNA) -- Iranian singer Mohammad Motamedi along with a team of international musicians will perform a concert named Qasida during the Morgenland Festival in Osnabrück, Germany on August 18.
“Iranian kamancheh player Ruzbeh Asadian will also follow me at the concert which is a combination of Persian and Arabic music,” he told the Persian service of MNA.
Rosario ‘La Tremendita’, Salvador Gutiérrez, and Sergio Martínez from Spain, and Moslem Rahal and Firas Hassan from Syria will collaborate in this performance, he remarked.
“This will be a good experience for me and my best opportunity to date to display the potential of Persian music to the world,” he said.
The festival running from 15 to 22 makes connections between countries such as Iran, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, and China.
