Transit of goods via Iran up 54%
TEHRAN, Aug. 16 (MNA) -- Some 3.344 million tons of goods worth over $9.8 billion have been transited via Iran in the first four months of the current Iranian calendar year (started March 21, 2010).
The amount shows a 54.76 percent increase in terms of volume and 41.55 percent rise in terms of value in comparison to the previous year’s figure.
It is predicted that the volume would reach 10 million tons by the end of the year.
