Iranian films compete at Santiago filmfest
TEHRAN, Aug. 17 (MNA) -- Two Iranian films will be competing at the Santiago International Film Festival, which will be held from August 17 to 23 in Chile.
Mohammad Rasulof’s “The White Meadows” will go on screen at the festival. “The White Meadows” tells the story of a postman who has been asked to collect the inhabitants’ tears on the islands he has travelled for many years.
Doc by Mohammad Shirvani “Iranian Cookbook” will also participate at the gala. In the doc, the director conducts interviews with six Iranian housewives as they prepare meals for their families during Ramadan.
