Iran commerce minister avoids impeachment by fulfilling demands
TEHRAN, Aug. 18 (MNA) – MP Vali Ismaeli announced on Tuesday that MPs have abandoned their bid to impeach Commerce Minister Mehdi Ghazanfari.
Ismaeli told the Mehr News Agency the reason that MPs gave up pursuing the minister’s impeachment was that he agreed to some conditions set by MPs after the impeachment bid was prepared.
Ismaeli said the conditions were met by the ministry within ten days as demanded by MPs.
