Iran loses to Argentina in YOG volleyball
SINGAPORE, Aug. 22 (MNA) -- Iran was defeated by Argentina in the preliminary round of the Youth Olympic Games (YOG) volleyball competition here on Saturday.
Iran lost to Argentina in three straight sets 12-25, 9-25, 27-29 at the Toa Payoh Sports Hall.
The Persians are scheduled to play Cuba in Group B on Monday.
The 2010 Youth Olympic Games has brought together 3,600 athletes ages 14 to 18 from 204 countries competing in 26 sports.
