Iranian delegation to attend Ramadan Festival in Ankara
TEHRAN, Aug. 22 (MNA) -- A group of 12 Iranian artists from Iran’s Melal Cultural Center will be attending the Ramadan Festival in the Turkish capital of Ankara.
The festival gathers Muslim countries to promote their culture and art from the 5th to 10th day of Ramadan (August 26-31).
Iran will have several art stands and Iranian artists will be givin various performances each day at the festival, said the Melal Cultural Center Director Mohammad Hossein Hejazi.
The festival aims to present customs and traditions for Ramadan as observed in different Muslim countries and also to join them together in a cultural brotherhood.
The People's Republic of Crimea, Iran, Uzbekistan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Bangladesh, Kosovo, Sudan, Morocco, Tajikistan, Palestine, Qatar, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Albania, Iraq, United Arab Emirates, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kyrgyzstan, and Nigeria all have joined in the activities.
