'Armed forces’ readiness will deter any ‘unwise’ move against Iran'
TEHRAN, Aug. 23 (MNA) – A top commander says the Iranian armed forces’ full readiness will deter the enemies from taking any “unwise or imprudent” action against the country.
Under the wise leadership of the Supreme Leader, the Iranian military is prepared to ensure “comfort and ease of mind” for the nation, Ground Forces Commander Ahmad-Reza Pourdastan said in interview published on Sunday.
31 years of tireless efforts to gain self-sufficiency in the military field and cutting dependency on foreigners have finally born fruit and made the armed forces to be equipped with the advanced military hardware, he noted.
