Iran loses to Cuba in YOG volleyball
SINGAPORE, Aug. 24 (MNA) -- Iran was defeated by Cuba in the volleyball competition of Youth Olympic Games (YOG) on Monday.
Iran lost to Cuba 3-1 (25-21, 22-25, 19-25, 22-25) in Pool B at the Toa Payoh Sports Hall.
“Iran should have advanced to the next stage, but unfortunately, missed the opportunity. I believe that Iran and Cuba should have played each other in the final game.”
Iran was badly beaten by Argentina in its opening.
