Iran’s “Gesher” to compete in San Sebastian filmfest
TEHRAN, Aug. 24 (MNA) -- “Gesher” by Iranian director Vahid Vakilifar will go on screen at the Zabaltegi -- New Directors Section of the 58th San Sebastian International Film Festival that will be held from September 17 to 25 in Spain.
The film is the story of three men who in pursuit of a better life leave their homes and head for Asaluyeh, one of the richest gas producing regions in southern Iran.
Iranian filmmaker Mohammad Rassoulof, who participated in 2009 San Sebastian festival with “The White Meadows”, is the producer of the film.
