Iran-Brazil non-oil trade hits $230m in 4 months
TEHRAN, Aug. 25 (MNA) – Non-oil exports of Iran to Brazil in the first four months of the current Iranian calendar year (starting March 21) amounted to 112,000 tons, worth around $47 million.
During the same period last year Iran exported only 341 tons of products worth some $1.4 million.
On the opposite side, imports from Brazil during this period declined 83 percent and 25 percent in terms of volume and value respectively compared to the same period the year before.
During this time, 63,000 tons of products worth $181 million were imported while in the previous year 383,000 tons worth $240 million had been imported from Brazil.
