New Dutch ambassador to Tehran submit credentials
TEHRAN, Aug. 30 (MNA) – Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki on Sunday received a copy of the credentials of the new Dutch ambassador to Iran.
During the meeting, Mottaki said there are great potential for expanding ties between the two countries.
He also said the Tehran-Amsterdam ties are historic and that the two countries should focus their attention on their commonalities.
The new ambassador, for his part, said Iran and the Netherlands could promote their cooperation particularly in cultural areas.
He said he will make efforts to expand ties between the two nations.
