Iranian teams finish third at Dragonboat World Championships
TEHRAN, Aug. 30 (MNA) -- Iranian men’s and women’s teams finished in third places at the International Canoe Federation Dragonboat World Championships on Saturday in Szeged, Hungary.
Iran’s senior men 500 meters team came third with a time of 05:56.384 minutes. Russia claimed the title with 05:52.574 minutes followed by Hungary with a time of 05:53.846 minutes.
Iran’s senior women 500 meters also finished in third place, clocking 06:34.967 minutes. Hungary came first with a time of 06:27.149 minutes and Russia finished at second place with 06:28.597 minutes.
The International Canoe Federation Dragonboat World Championships brought together 600 athletes from 20 countries.
