Iran, Turkey religious organizations to boost ties
TEHRAN, Sept. 4 (MNA) -- The director of the Islamic Ideology Dissemination Organization stressed on strengthening religious and cultural ties between Iran and Turkey during his visit with Turkey’s President of Religious Affairs Ali Bardakoglu.
During his trip to Turkey, Hojjatoleslam Seyyed Mehdi Khamushi paid a visit to Bardakoglu during a meeting which was attended by the Iranian Ambassador Khalaj Monfared.
At the meeting, Bardakoglu praised the Islamic Ideology Dissemination Organization for its activities familiarizing the younger generation with Islamic concepts.
Khamushi proposed the exchange of religious delegations between the two countries and invited Bardakoglu and his delegation to Iran after the holy month of Ramadan.
