MAKHACHKALA. September 5 (Itar-Tass) - An unknown suicide bomber
rammed an explosive-stuffed Lada car of Russian make through the gate of a
military base in the North Caucasian region of Dagestan early morning
Sunday, leaving at least thirteen Army servicemen wounded, sources at the
Dagestani Interior Ministry said.
The incident occurred on the base of a mechanized infantry division in
the town of Buinaksk.
The bomber died in the explosion.
At the time of reporting, details of the incident were being cleared
out.
