Ahmadinejad meets Qatari emir in Doha
DOHA, Sept. 6 (MNA) – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad held talks on Sunday with Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa al-Thani and other senior Qatari officials in Doha.
The Iranian ambassador to Doha had previously said Ahmadinejad and Qatari officials would discuss issues of mutual interest, issues related to the Islamic world, devastating floods in Pakistan, the o-called Mideast peace talks as well as regional and global developments.
Ahmadinejad was expected to meet foreign ambassadors residing in Qatar.
