Iran participating in World Weightlifting Championships
TEHRAN, Sept, 18 (MNA) -- Iran will take part in the 2010 World Weightlifting Championships which will be held in Antalya, Turkey from September 18 to 30.
Iran will participate in the championships with seven participants. The men and women lifters from around the world will compete in 15 categories.
The competitions will bring nearly 1,200 weightlifters from 86 countries together. The 2010 World Weightlifting Championships will also serve as qualification game for the 2012 London Olympics.
