Iran to face Egypt in FIVB World Championship
TEHRAN, Sept. 25 (MNA) -- Iran volleyball team will play Egypt today in the 2010 FIVB Men’s World Championship opener.
Iran will face the African champion in Pool A in Milan, Italy. Egypt cruised past Iran 3-1 in September 2009 in the 2010 World league qualifications.
The Asian powerhouse will play Japan and Italy on Sunday and Monday respectively.
A total of 24 teams divided into six groups of four will be taking part in the 2010 FIVB Men’s World Championship which will is held in Italy from September 25 to October 10.
