Tehran, Zagreb museums to expand relations
TEHRAN, Sept. 29 (MNA) -- Directors of the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art (TMCA) and the Museum of Contemporary Art of Zagreb discussed improving cultural relations during a recent meeting in Tehran.
TMCA director Mahmud Shaluii and his Croatian counterpart Snjezana Pintaric discussed exchanging of books, art catalogues and the presence of Iranian artists in Croatia.
“Regarding the space and facilities available at the Zagreb museum, Iranian artists can display their multimedia and installation artworks there”, Pintaric mentioned.
At the meeting, Shaluii explained about the activities of TMCA and invited Croatian artists to take part in international visual art festivals and biennials.
He also proposed holding an exhibition in Croatia by Iranian artists. TMCA will also give Croatian artists chances to hold showcases in Iran.
