IRIB hosts Islamic Film Market

TEHRAN, Oct. 11 (MNA) -- The 2nd Islamic Film Market was launched yesterday with a ceremony at the IRIB International Conference Center.

About 300 participants including 90 TV network directors and 110 film international distributors from different countries including the Netherlands, India, Bahrain and Egypt, organizer Mohammad-Ali Anusheh mentioned during the event.

He went on to say that several film companies from the various countries have made over 1,600 documentaries, feature films and other film types, he added.

The Islamic Film Market has been launched with the aim of introducing the members’ products and capabilities.

The Islamic Film Market is an excellent opportunity that paves the way for fair competition among participants and promotes quality in their productions.

The market will run until October 12.
