'Hajj presents great opportunity for promotion of Islamic Revolution'
TEHRAN, Oct. 13 (MNA) – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has said that hajj pilgrimage presents a golden opportunity for the promotion of the Islamic Revolution.
“Hajj pilgrimage is a great opportunity for the promotion of the revolutionary thought,” Ahmadinejad said at a meeting with hajj officials on Tuesday, held just ahead of the annual gathering of Muslims in Mecca for the hajj pilgrimage, which occurs in the middle of November this year according to the Islamic lunar calendar.
The president went on to say that the spread of revolutionary thought in the world infuriates the enemies, so the Iranian pilgrims should smartly seize the opportunity to inform Muslims about the message of the Islamic Revolution.
“Hajj is the manifestation of the true Islam, Islamic thought and Islamic management of the world affairs.”
Elsewhere in his remarks, Ahmadinejad urged the hajj officials to do their utmost to preserve the dignity of the Iranian pilgrims.
