ECI officials awarded top Tajik state cultural medals
TEHRAN, Oct. 17 (MNA) -- Tajikistan awarded its top cultural medals to ECO Cultural Institute (ECI) director Hojjatollah Ayyubi and his advisor Mostafa Abtahi on Friday.
They received the medals on the sidelines of the first edition of the ECO Calligraphy Festival, which was underway in Dushanbe.
The state medal was awarded to organizations and individuals, who had carried out outstanding artistic and cultural services in Tajikistan.
The ECO Calligraphy Festival opened last week during a ceremony attended by a number of Iranian and Tajik artists and officials.
A vast array of Persian calligraphy works were on display at the festival, which runs until October 27.
