Six African parliament speakers to visit Iran soon
TEHRAN, Oct. 19 (MNA) -- Parliament speakers of six African countries of Congo, Kenya, Comoros, Djibouti, Libya, and Somali will respectively pay separate visits to Iran in the Iranian month of Aban (23 October to 21 November), a parliamentary official has announced.
The visits are made on the invitation of Iranian Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani, said Hossein Sheikholeslam, advisor to the Majlis speaker on international affairs.
The visits are intended to expand the parliamentary relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and African countries, Sheikholeslam added.
