'Only Iran can propose alternative to current global system'
TEHRAN, Oct. 26 (MNA) -- President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said only the Iranian nation can introduce an alternative to the current global system.
Today most of the Iranian intellectuals use theories proposed by the hegemonistic system since there is no alternative to them, Ahmadinejad told the ‘soft war’ conference at Tehran University on Monday.
He added that the world is “in dire need of a model” and the Iranian nation has the potential to set a new role model.
The main reason behind the enemies’ opposition against Iran is not its nuclear activities or economy, rather they know that the Iranian nation can spiritually dominate the world by reliance on its rich culture, he noted.
Today, what matters is the “confrontation of thoughts”, cultures and beliefs so Iran has to propose its own theories to the world, Ahmadinejad observed.
He went on to say that in an atmosphere of materialism, realization of non-materialistic views is impossible.
The president predicted that the hegemonistic powers’ political and economic plans will reach an impasse soon, adding even now these plans are no more efficient.
