Iran takes first at 4th Intl. Illumination and Miniature Festival of Algiers
TEHRAN, Oct.27(MNA) – Iranian artists took the first place at the 4th International Illumination and Miniature Festival of Algiers which ran from October 16 to 21.
The Iranian team received the top award in miniature, illumination and the flower and bird style of painting, award-winner Mostafa Aqamiri told on Tuesday.
The selected Iranians are Mostafa Aqamiri, his brother Amir-Hushang Aqamiri, and Reza Badrossma.
Some eighty artists from Iran, Tunisia, France, India, Lebanon and other countries participated in the event.
Aqamiri received a gold medal from the 4th Sharjah Biennial for the Art of Arabic Calligraphy in August 2010.
