Iran wins first place at Miniature Festival of Algiers
TEHRAN, Oct. 30(MNA) -- Iran took first place awards at the 4th International Illumination and Miniature Festival of Algiers which ran from October 16 to 21.
The competition was held in two different sections of miniature and illumination, where the first award in miniature was handed to Reza Badrossama and the second award went to Afshin Pezeshki. The two artists come from Isfahan.
Amirhushang Aqamiri from Tehran took the first award in illumination and the second award went to Mostafa Aqamiri.
Some eighty artists from Iran, Tunisia, France, India, Lebanon and other countries participated in the event.
Iranian miniaturist Alireza Aqamiri served on the festival’s jury.
