Cleric says reformists are still principlists’ chief rival
TEHRAN, Oct. 31 (MNA) – Principlist MP Hossein Ebrahimi said that reformists are still principlists’ main political rival.
“Reformists are main rival of principlists. Reformists are highly active and their political activities are even more than principlists,” Ebrahimi told on Saturday.
“The speeches made by reformist representatives in the Majlis show that they are highly active and have plans for future,” he noted.
Ebrahimi’s remarks came as some extremist figures believe that reformism is a dead political grouping and that reformist groups should be eliminated from the country’s political scene.
