Tehran to host ECO expert meeting

TEHRAN, Oct. 31(MNA) – The meeting of the High Level Expert Group (HLEG) of the Economic Cooperation Organization will be held in Tehran on Monday and Tuesday, the Interior Ministry announced on Saturday.

ECO is an intergovernmental regional organization established in 1985 by Iran, Pakistan and Turkey for the purpose of promoting economic, technical and cultural cooperation among the member states.

Currently ECO includes Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan
