Iran to host meeting on Afghanistan
TEHRAN, Oct. 31 (MNA) – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast announced on Sunday that Iran will host a meeting of Afghanistan’s neighbors in the near future.
“The meeting of the six neighbors of Afghanistan will be held in Tehran in the near future and several countries which are willing to participate in resolving the problems facing Afghanistan will attend the meeting,” Mehmanparast told the Mehr News Agency as he visited the Tehran International Press Festival on Sunday.
He did not give further details about the issues that will be addressed at the meeting and the position of officials who will attend the conference.
