Nation should be vigilant in face of enemies’ plots: Rafsanjani
TEHRAN, Nov. 3 (MNA) – Expediency Council Chairman Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani warns about enemies’ efforts to cast doubt on the legitimacy of the Islamic system by distorting the truth about the history of the Islamic Revolution.
The enemies who have failed to deceive the politically mature Iranian youth are revengefully trying to question the well-documented facts about the Islamic Revolution in order to make people doubtful about the whole system, Rafsanjani said in an article published just ahead of the anniversary of Aban 13.
Aban 13, which corresponds to November 4, marks the anniversary of the capturing of the U.S. embassy by Iranian students three decades ago.
Aban 13 has been rightfully designated as the day of fight against the global arrogance, Rafsanjani opined.
