MP calls on reformists to break silence
TEHRAN, Nov. 3 (MNA) – Reformist MP Daryoush Qanbari, the spokesman of the Majlis minority faction, called on reformists to break their silence and express their viewpoints about the issues facing the country.
Some reformists believe that in the current political situation, they should remain silent, because their criticisms fall on deaf ears, but some other reformists including the reformist MPs say that keeping silent is not the right policy even if the reformists’ criticisms are not heeded, Qanbari told on Tuesday.
“In the current situation, it is necessary that reformists, especially the reformist parliamentarians, express their criticisms… because in this way people become informed about the issues (facing the country) and our identity as a political group is recognized in the Majlis,” he noted.
