Larijani reelected head of Majlis majority faction
TEHRAN, Nov. 8 (MNA) -- Iranian Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani was re-elected for the third consecutive term as the head of the Majlis majority faction, which is the dominant group in the parliament.
Larijani’s success came as the pro-administration MPs campaigned to prevent his re-election.
MPs Mohammad Hassan Aboutorabifard and Mohammad Reza Bahonar were also elected as deputy heads of the principlist faction of the Majlis.
