MP tells 5+1 to abandon ‘negotiation-resolution’ approach on Iran
TEHRAN, Nov. 8 (MNA) -- Spokesman of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee advised the 5+1 group against continuing its “negotiation-resolution” approach toward Iran in the talks slated for the current month.
“The strategy of negotiation-resolution is a failed and old strategy and the Westerners should stop using this strategy in the upcoming negotiations,” Kazem Jalali told on Sunday.
He said since the nuclear row emerged between Iran and the West, Tehran has been maintaining that “purposeful and fruitful” negotiation is the best way to resolve differences over Tehran’s nuclear program.
However, when the talks are close to yield results, certain groups in the West try to “break the rules of the game,” the senior lawmaker noted.
