Principlists’ power hangs on their unity: activist
TEHRAN, Nov. 9 (MNA)-- Hassan Akhtari, the secretary general of the Muslim Journalists Association, commented that the principlists’ power depends on their unity, advising them against competing fiercely with each other.
“It is necessary that the principlists prevent the creation of rift and division among themselves, because all the power and success of this (political) group depends on their unity,” Akhtari told on Monday.
“It is a wrong analysis that we think that we can form a pure principlist group by creating competition within the principlist groups and eliminating certain (figures),” he commented.
Instead of playing into the rival’s hand and becoming divided, the principlists’ should maintain their unity “because through division we will get nowhere,” he added.
