Karateka Vishkaei wins Asian gold
GUANGZHOU, Nov. 27(MNA) -- Iran’s Jasem Vishkaei claimed the gold medal of the Men's 84kg Karate at the 16th Asian Games on Friday.
Vishkaei defeated Ryutaro Araga from Japan 6-2 to win the gold.
“I came here to win the gold. This is my second gold at the Asian Games and I believe that I deserved to win,” Vishkaei said.
The joint bronze medals were won by Mutasembellah Khair from Jordan and Tzu Yao Yen of Chinese Taipei.
