Ukraine president to visit Japan in January: ambassador

TOKYO, Nov. 30 Kyodo -
Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych plans to visit Japan in January, the
country's ambassador to Japan, Mykola Kulinich, said Tuesday.
Kulinich said at a press conference in Tokyo that Ukraine is one of the world's
major agricultural nations and could help contribute to Japan's food security.
He also expressed hope that Japan will expand its technical assistance,
financial support and investment in Ukraine.
