EU lawmakers to visit Tehran next week
TEHRAN, Dec. 6 (MNA) -- A delegation from the European Parliament will travel to Tehran on December 11 to hold talks with Iranian parliamentary and political figures.
The delegation will stay in Tehran until December 14. The MEPs were supposed to visit Tehran last year but the travel was postponed.
The visit will be the most important diplomatic travel between the European Parliament and Iran.
The European Parliament is the only directly-elected body of the European Union which has 736 members from European states.
