BOGOR PKS TO PAY DELIVERY BILLS OF EIGHT BABIES BORN FRIDAY
Bogor, W Java, Aug 8 (ANTARA)- Eight babies born normally on Friday (Aug 8) will receive presents and have their delivery bills paid by the Bogot branch of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS), a spokesman said.
Yocie Gusman, chairman of PKS's Bogor branch, said here Thursday the party would carry out the social activity to show its care for Bogor's society, and to publicize PKS's identification number (No.8) for the 2009 legislative lection.
"It is an instruction of the PKS executive board to party branches across the country to conduct activities to publicize the party's electoral identificatio number on Friday (Aug 8, 2008)," Yocie said.
The PKS's Bogor branch had chosen to carry out this kind of activity for eight babies born on August 8, 2008 between 00.00 and 24.00 hours local time, the spokesman said.
The babies who would get the gifts should be born in hospitals, maternity centers and midwife clinics in Bogor.
"If the total of babies be born on August 08, 2008 is more than eight, we will give priority to babies from poor families," the Yocie said.
To know the babies born on Friday, the party would station e female cadres at all hospitals, maternity centers beginning Thursday (Aug 7).
PKS is one of 34 political parties which will take part in next year's general election.
