Tehran’s ambassador to Beirut meets Michel Suleiman
TEHRAN, Dec. 11 (MNA)-- Iran’s ambassador to Lebanon met with Lebanese President Michel Suleiman on Thursday.
Ambassador Ghazanfar Roknabadi expressed hope that Suleimans’ efforts to establish unity in Lebanon will yield positive results.
He also raised President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s invitation to Suleiman to visit Iran.
Suleiman said the Lebanese premier’s visit to Iran was satisfactory, expressing hope that his travel would help expand ties between the two countries.
Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri along with seven ministers visited Iran last month for a three-day-visit.
