Women bring newborns to gathering in commemoration of Hazrat Ali-Asghar (AS)
TEHRAN, Dec. 11 (MNA) -- Iranian women gathered their newborns at the Imam Khomeini Mosalla and the Mahdieh Mosque in Tehran to commemorate Hazrat Ali-Asghar (AS), the newborn son of Imam Hussein (AS), on Friday.
Similar gatherings were held in 30 other countries across the world.
The six-month-old baby Hazrat Ali-Asghar (AS) was killed by an arrow that hit his throat while he was in his father’s arms on Ashura (the tenth of Muharram), which was the day Imam Hussein (AS) and his companions were martyred.
