TEHRAN, Dec. 12 (MNA) -- Former commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps predicted that the U.S. troops will leave Iraq and Afghanistan as soon as they can.
“The U.S. like the Soviet Union that left Afghanistan disgracefully, will have to leave Iraq and Afghanistan soon,” Brigadier General Rahim Safavi said on Saturday.
The death tolls among U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan have doubled in comparison to those of last year, Safavi said.
