Iran to build ocean-going vessel
TEHRAN, Dec. 19 (MNA)-- Iran planned to construct a research ocean-going vessel in the near future, an official at the Defense Ministry said on Saturday.
“At the moment, (the construction of) this ocean-going vessel is under study and at this stage the features of this vessel will be determined,” the director of maritime industry department of the Defense Ministry told .
Iran has made great progress in manufacturing military and research equipment over the past years.
For instance, the Islamic Republic has designed and manufactured a number of satellites and missiles so far.
