Iran`s Persepolis coach resigns
TEHRAN, Dec. 20 (MNA) -- Ali Daei resigned as Persepolis(Iranian footbal team) coach after the Tehran-based team suffered a heavy loss against Saba in the Iran Professional League (IPL) on Sunday.
In the wake of disappointing results in the IPL, Daei stepped down as coach of Iran’s most popular team.
Persepolis lost to Saba 4-1 at Tehran’s Azadi Stadium. It was Persepolis’ fifth successive loss.
The team had previously lost to Mes, Sepahan, Paykan and Shahrdari of Tabriz(Iranian footbal teams).
