Bahrain parliament speaker condemns Chabahar terrorist blast
TEHRAN, Dec. 21 (MNA)-- Bahrain’s Parliament Speaker Khalifa Al Dhahrani in separate messages to Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani and Iranian ambassador to Manama Mahdi Aqajafari denounced the recent terrorist attack in Chabahar.
On December 15, a suicide bomber detonated an explosive device outside a mosque in the southeastern city of Chabahar in Sistan-Baluchestan province during a Shia religious ceremony, killing 39 people and injuring more than 100 others. Women and children were among the victims. The terrorist group Jundullah claimed responsibility for the bombing.
Al Dhahrani expressed sympathy with the Iranian nation and the families of the victims and said that such actions are aimed at undermining peace and security in Iran.
The Bahrain Foreign Ministry also issued a statement condemning the terrorist attack.
