Iran power export to Iraq will rise
TEHRAN Dec. 21 (MNA) –- Iran’s ambassador to Baghdad said that Iran will soon increase electricity exports to 1,000 megawatts to Iraq.
Hassan Danaeefar told Al Sabah newspaper that Iran is eager to transfer electricity and its know-how and expertize in various fields to Iraq.
The Iranian diplomat who was attending an exhibition in the field of electricity, water, oil, construction, gas, oil, and petrochemicals in Basra said 45 Iranian firms including two companies in the field of oil and gas have taken part in the show.
He added that soon power will be transferred from the Karkheh region in Iran to the Al Amareh in Iraq.
