Tehran`s Vahdat Hall to showcase photos of Iranian TV series “Mokhtarnameh”
TEHRAN, Dec. 21 (MNA) -- A photo collection depicting scenes from the Iranian TV series “Mokhtarnameh” will be put on show in an exhibit at Tehran’s Vahdat Hall from December 25, 2010 to January 30, 2011.
Seventy-two photos have been selected for the show by renowned Iranian photographer Seifollah Samadian from among over 4,000 works that have been taken by Masud Pakdel.
Over eight years were spent producing the series, which is about an uprising organized by Mokhtar Saqafi after the events of Ashura, the 10th day of Muharram, to take revenge against the killers of Imam Hussein (AS).
